Plain Jane Knits Up A Storm

A few musings about my needlecraft hobbies - knitting, crocheting, quilting, & cross-stitch along with my other love, genealogy. While growing up, I used to HATE the term "Plain Jane", but when it comes to knitting & crocheting, I've realized that I really *am* a Plain Jane in that I don't use fancy yarns.

It's Been A Busy Week

We wrapped up the first week of the craft show at the Senior Center on Friday - here's the table as it looked early Monday morning.

That empty end of the table was fill when Pat brought in all her lovely baby outfits & afghans.

About a third of the K4 gang is shown here on Monday afternoon during what would normally be our knitting & crocheting class.

Marian & Marina hid out in the corner of the craft room used by the members of the short wave radio club who aren't there on Mondays.

Here's another look at the goodies. The sale continues through this next week though I'll only be there on Monday & Thursday for sure.

I spent most of the week working on small Snuggles for The Snuggles Project. We had a lot of odds & ends of donated yarn as well as a tote full of Homespun which machine washes but doesn't come out looking very good. But it's soft and the kitties won't care how it looks as long as it's a warm spot in the cage to curl up. I'm up to 15 Snuggles so far and have yarn for more.
