A Rose By Any Other...
Found this one on Shelob's site who originally borrowed it from Sallee's:
There seem to be some 379,493 Janes out there and some of are gathering in the Not A Plain Jane group on Ravelry. I think I'm the only one in the group with the "Plain Jane" handle which sort of negates the title of the group. Ah well, after so many years as a Jane and only meeting five or six in my lifetime, it's nice to see a whole lot of others who grew up with "Me Tarzan", "Jane Doe", and, yes, "Plain Jane" comments. {g} There are only 14 with both my first & last name in the whole country - one of them races huskies, but that's not me.
On the knitting front, the sweater has been shipped to my Grand-daughter and Grand-son's is on the needles though no photos yet. The rest of my knitting this week has been pretty bland - a "fashion" hat & scarf in a pale mauve chenille yarn, two hats in aran fleck to go with scarves I'd made earlier plus a couple washcloths knit while I was web surfing, not the stuff of exciting photo sessions.
